HSLD's patent pending Multi-Phase Chamber provides exceptional efficiency and offers novel “gas-prioritization” technology. This feature smoothly feeds gas in the compensator chamber to various ports in a controlled manner. This more efficiently diverts gas into a useful direction and reduces turbulence normally associated with a traditional single port compensator, ultimately reducing muzzle rise, felt recoil, recoil width and shot-to-shot recovery time.
All of our compensators are machined from 6061-T6 Aluminum, but don't let that fool you. Our compensators are tough as nails and are designed with heavy round counts, high heat, and corrosion resistance in mind. 6061 offers the best blend of all these characteristics which is why it is such an ideal material for us to use.
But when the rubber hits the road all that really counts is performance, and we don't compromise. Our compensators offer class leading recoil reduction. In testing with the Mantis X training device we recorded a nearly 40% reduction in vertical muzzle climb, 46% reduction in recoil pattern width, and a 75% reduction in shot-to-shot recovery.*
These numbers are based on testing performed with a Glock Model 43X, 115 grain FMJ ammunition, and the LoudMouth compensator installed. The results were derived based on a 9 shot string of fire without the compensator installed, and then with the compensator installed.
